Need help choosing the right equipment?
Pallet changers are devices that allow loads to be transferred from one pallet to another without manual unloading and reloading. The load remains intact, and only the pallet underneath is replaced. «Alwark» supplies PSV ULTRA pallet changing equipment — from the basic ULTRA LIFTER to the ULTRA MULTI model for changing multiple pallets and the mobile ULTRA MOBIL version. The equipment is used in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries, logistics, and manufacturing, where pallet replacement is performed regularly. For pallet transportation between areas, see pallet trucks.
When does a company need pallet changing equipment?
Pallet changing equipment is most commonly used when wooden pallets cannot be used in production or clean areas due to hygiene requirements, when export markets require a different pallet standard, or when a company uses its own pallets for internal logistics while received goods arrive on another type of pallet. In such cases, manual load transfer is often the alternative, which typically requires more time and labour resources.
Which pallet formats are supported by PSV ULTRA devices?
The PSV ULTRA series is adapted for handling EURO (800 mm), INDUSTRY (1,000 mm), 1,200 × 1,200 mm, and GMA 48″ × 40″ pallet formats. The US-GMA model is designed for GMA pallets and includes a height difference compensation function. ULTRA COMBI is used for narrower pallets, while ULTRA MOBIL is suitable for handling different pallet types.
What is the maximum load weight?
The basic ULTRA LIFTER model is designed for loads up to 1,000 kg, while ULTRA CARGO can handle loads up to 3 tonnes. When selecting a model, it is important to consider not only the load weight but also load stability and pallet throughput during a shift. Based on these criteria, «Alwark» specialists help select the most suitable configuration.
What warranty and service are provided?
New equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Spare parts are covered by a 6–12 month warranty depending on the manufacturer and type of component (standard — 6 months), while individual parts may have a warranty period of up to 5 years. Service work is covered by a 6-month warranty. Service support is provided throughout Lithuania.
